SERVICE TIMES

First Baptist Church of Newton Falls has been my home now since 1987. These have been some of the most exciting years that I have experienced as a pastor. Not only has our community changed... we have seen literally scores upon scores of individual lives changed at First Baptist Church through the transforming power of Jesus Christ. 

The Lord has blessed us with wonderful facilities and a common goal to tell as many people as possible about Jesus Christ and the new life that can be experienced through knowing Him. We want to serve you as part of our community. Our desire is to let you know that you are always welcome at First Baptist Church and that you have an open invitation to worship with us at any time. We will make ourselves available to serve you.

First Baptist Church: Pastor Steve Spurlock

Pastor Steve Spurlock grew up in southwest Florida where his parents were both public school teachers. He is a graduate of Stetson University (DeLand, FL) and later received his Master of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Wake Forest, NC). He has served as pastor of First Baptist Church, Newton Falls since 1987. He and his wife, Teresa, have one son, Blake. He enjoys bicycling for exercise.
